Pulse and Roll – Sadlers Wells – Lilian Baylis Studio, London @ Sadlers Wells
Jun 3 @ 7:45 pm – 10:30 pm

arnolfini_websiteThis taiko drumming show is exhilarating, inspiring and uplifting. Taiko is a feast for the eyes as well as the ears; choreographed moves combine with the rhythms to create an entrancing spectacle.

Devon-based Kagemusha Taiko have toured in Japan as well as headlining significant concerts in Europe and the USA, where they represented European taiko at the first World Taiko Concert in Los Angeles. “Pulse & Roll” is a new show featuring recent compositions while still retaining a handful of older favourites.

The show consists of two sets, each 45 minutes in length, with an interval of 20 minutes.

Taiko drumming is self-evidently noisy, but is generally comfortable in a theatre setting. The show is suitable for families with children aged 10+

The combination of choreography and the nature of the sound, which can be felt through the body, make the show suitable for those who have difficulties with hearing, and well as those with visual impairment.

Photography are video recording are not permitted during the show.
