An exciting way to kick off a Sunday, these Skills and Drills sessions will cover a range of things including shime and odaiko technique as well as different styles of playing  such as up-stand and slant stand. £10 per person and suitable for those who’ve played taiko before. Intro to Omiyage Workshop @ The Taiko Centre

‘Omiyage’ is an energetic and fun piece played naname style (on slant stands). This open source piece was composed by LA based Shoji Komeda as a gift to the taiko community, (‘Omiyage’ means gift in Japanese) and is played by groups all over the world.

This workshop will look at various parts of the piece, no prior experience of slant style playing necessary but this workshop is not suitable for complete beginners. £10 per person. This workshop is now fully booked to go on the waiting list please email info@kagemusha.com.

7 -Week Adult Recreational Course 
Starts Thursday 7th March 2019
7.00 – 8.30pm, £60 per person

A 7-week course for those who have played taiko before and are looking to challenge themselves by learning simple repertoire and build on the basics and fundamentals. You must be over the age of 18. The course is £60 per person and must be booked in advance by emailing info@kagemusha.com or ringing 01626 325832.

Tano Taiko at the Grizzly @ Branscombe Beach

The Grizzly is an epic 22-mile endurace run along the stunning, but unforgiving, coast path. Starting in Seaton, in East Devon, the run takes is some of the most beautiful landscapes in the area. Tano Taiko will be set up on Branscombe beach throughout the day on 10th March drumming along to keep the runners going!
