Eleven Workshop with Ingmar Kikat @ The Taiko Centre
Apr 27 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Saturday 27th April, 10.00am – 1.00pm, £30 per person

Eleven is a taiko piece composed by Kaoly Asano in the aftermath of the catastrophic 2011 tsunami that hit Japan. It is a taiko piece of huge significance and one that Kaoly is eager to share and spread.

‘When we play taiko, we offer our body and soul. We play being led by something great. By doing so, we become a channel for many spirits, thoughts, prayers and much love that run through the path in our body as the sound resonating on earth and in heaven.

And the pillar of sound is erected.’

Ingmar Kikat, of Kion Dojo Hamburg, is a student of Kaoly’s and we are delighted to be welcoming him to the Taiko Centre to teach elements of the piece Eleven.

Places are limited and MUST be booked and paid for in advance. Places are non-refundable. To book please email info@kagemusha.com. This workshop is not suitable for beginners.
