Omiyage Take 2
Wednesday 29th May, 7.00 – 9.00 pm, £10 per person

This workshops follows on from the Intro to Omiyage workshop earlier this year, however it’s not necessary to have attended the first workshop. Omiyage, composed by LA based Shoji Kameda, is a piece played on slant stands and a lot of fun! Places are limited so please book by emailing info@kagemusha.com. This workshop is not suitable for complete beginners.

Sunday Skills and Drills @ The Taiko Centre

An exciting way to kick off a Sunday, these Skills and Drills sessions will cover a range of things including shime and odaiko technique as well as different styles of playing  such as up-stand and slant stand. £10 per person and suitable for those who’ve played taiko before. Odaiko Fundamentals

This workshop will help participants with the basics and fundamentals of playing odaiko. Odaiko is the name used for the biggest drum in the room and is played on an up-stand. This workshop will feature drills for those looking to improve their odaiko playing skills. Places are limited and must be booked in advance by emailing info@kagemusha.com.

Seen taiko and now want to do it? Our Taste of Taiko workshops are perfect for complete beginners who want to give this great performing art a go. This two hour workshop at our Taiko Centre at Hannahs at Seale Hayne teaches you the basics and fundamentals, as well as a bit of history of taiko.
