Start the half-term off with a bang with this Family Saturday Social, a workshop where the whole family can play together, refreshments 9.30 – 10.00 am with taiko drumming 10.00 – 11.30 am. This session is suitable for complete beginners or those that have played before, whether they want to bring kids along or not!

Taste of Taiko Workshop in Tiverton
Saturday 30th November, 10 am – 4 pm, The Oak Room
Taiko is coming to Tiverton! This amazing performing art which combines big drums and choreography is a lot of fun and accessible to all. Kagemusha Taiko will be leading a day-long Taste of Taiko workshop in the Oak Room on Saturday 30th November. This workshop will include an introduction to taiko as well as the basics, fundamentals and melody patterns culminating in learning a simple performance piece by the end of the day.
Places are £40 per person and must be booked and paid for in advance at the Liznojan Bookshop on Gold Street in Tiverton. Please note there is a booking fee to pay by card. Participants must be 14yrs +. Lunch is not included but tea & coffee will be available.

Blow those cobwebs away with this unique opportunity to re-energise, re-charge and challenge yourself with something new. Drumming, beautiful Devon countryside and more, Kagemusha Taiko’s Day Retreats are the perfect way to escape. With no previous experience of taiko necessary, these days are open to enthusiastic adults of all ages.
Our day retreats begin with gentle stretches followed by a day of taiko drumming, finishing off with exclusive use of a hydro-therapy pool. Places are just £60 per person and must be booked in advance by emailing info@kagemusha.com.
