Kagemusha Taiko are now offering ‘Taiko Day Retreats’. Spend the day learning the basics and fundamentals of this amazing performing art at our fully equipped studio.
Blow those cobwebs away with this unique opportunity to re-energise, re-charge and challenge yourself with something new. Drumming, beautiful Devon countryside and more, Kagemusha Taiko’s Day Retreats are the perfect way to escape. With no previous experience of taiko necessary, these days are open to enthusiastic adults of all ages.
Our day retreats begin with gentle stretches followed by a day of taiko drumming, finishing off with exclusive use of a hydro-therapy pool. Places are just £60 per person and must be booked in advance by emailing info@kagemusha.com.

The chance to play taiko in an informal class, these sessions are open to all (16yrs +), and will cover basics and the opportunity to work on a beginners performance piece. Includes tea or coffee from 9.30am at the Taiko Centre for those who arrive early. To find out more email info@kagemusha.com.

Sunday Skills and Drills workshops are aimed at giving the brain a good work out as well as having the opportunity to play different styles and use different techniques. These workshops are not suitable for beginners and must be booked in advance here.
